Novitas advised Gatehouse Commercials (Pty) Ltd (Gatehouse) on its recent management buy-out (MBO)
Gatehouse is one of the leading film and video production and facilitation companies in South Africa, working with leading international brands shooting TV commercials in South Africa.
Novitas advised the company on restructuring its capitalisation table so that all shares are held by individuals actively involved in the business. This involved the buyout of fifty percent (50%) of the shares from a third party, where Novitas played a lead role in the pricing, structuring and negotiation of the transaction.
